The French Romantic Experience

To provide an initial account of 10 years of musical rediscovery, the Palazzetto Bru Zane is bringing out a boxed set of 10 CDs showcasing extracts from some of the works that have been unearthed: a wide spectrum (1780-1920) of music will be presented, taking in the genres of tragédie lyrique, opera, operetta and café-concert, cantata, sacred music, symphonic music, concerto, chamber music, piano and mélodie. This boxed set also includes recordings made in collaboration with label partners since 2009.
