An evening with Fauré

Chamber Music
While pursuing a career as a choirmaster and organist, Gabriel Fauré was also a regular visitor to the salons hosted by members of French high society, for which he turned his hand brilliantly to chamber music. The works for strings and piano performed this evening offer a glimpse of that intimate repertoire.
