Classical music turns jazz

Concert
© Gerard de Haan / Romane Bégon / Sébastien Terrié
American jazz reached the shores of Europe at the beginning of the twentieth century, causing a scandal for a while, before being fully accepted in the years following the Second World War. That long period of acclimatisation coincided with the golden age of the French mélodie. The artists propose in this concert a dialogue between those two worlds.
