In collaboration with various partners, the Palazzetto Bru Zane will be presenting, for the sixth season running, a series of concerts in Canada. Together with Les Violons du Roy, the Domaine Forget de Charlevoix Chamber Orchestra and singers will be performing excerpts from HervĂ©âs Le Petit Faust, in a concert that is part of the Folies parisiennes cycle. The Domaine Forget International Festival will also include two performances of works by Louise Farrenc, as well as showcasing the French Romantic repertoire in another five events. In November, as part of a new collaboration with the Festival Le BaptĂȘme in Chicoutimi, a concert will be devoted to the piano music of CĂ©cile Chaminade and Mel Bonis, and with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lucie Leguay, VĂ©ronique Gens will be giving a programme of Romantic mĂ©lodies. Finally, Bourgie Hall at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts will be hosting recitals, in December (violin) and May (piano).
