For its 2024 edition, partly devoted to Nadia Boulanger, the Festival des Arcs is working with the Palazzetto Bru Zane on a number of events, including a ‘carte blanche’ on 25 July. Among the programmes and themes presented, several will pay tribute to ‘Mademoiselle’, as Nadia Boulanger was known by the generations of students who benefited from her teaching. Concerts will provide an opportunity to take a closer look at the rich career and outstanding work of this woman who nevertheless ceased to compose after the death of her beloved younger sister, Lili.
