A one-act opéra-comique by Georges Bizet, libretto by Léon Battu and Ludovic Halévy, first performed at the Théâtre des Bouffes-Parisiens on 9 April 1857.

With Le Docteur Miracle, Georges Bizet, at the age of nineteen, won (jointly with Charles Lecocq) the competition organised by Jacques Offenbach for the composition of an opéra-comique to a set libretto thus entitled. This hilarious work is currently on tour in France in a staged or semi-staged version. It will be performed in Italy (concert version) during the Spring Festival in Venice, and in Switzerland in the summer of 2025.
