Elisabetta Pasqualin
Posters and Graphic Design from Paris to Italy
Lecture in Italian.
The period between 1896 and 1915 is considered the golden age of Italian poster art. This talk will focus on the artists who made the history of advertising graphics, exploring a heritage where art and advertising intertwine. Alongside the Parisian artist Chéret, the works of Cappiello, Mataloni, Metlicovitz, Dudovich, Mauzan, Boccasile, and many others will be presented. With nearly 25,000 posters collected between the mid-19th century and 1962, the Museo nazionale Collezione Salce in Treviso holds an exceptional archive of graphic design.
Recorded at the Palazzetto Bru Zane on 6 November 2025.
