Financing Music in Europe from the 18th to the Early 20th Century
Symposium
Online

From conception to performance, music requires various forms of financial support: patronage, public subsidies, market investment, for example. This international conference focuses on the role played by funding in the world of music, the evolution of its forms over a long period of time (from the eighteenth to the twentieth century) in the west, and its relationship with artistic creation or practice.
Conference organised by Centro Studi Opera Omnia Luigi Boccherini
